Vass Full SKU Product Codes
You may be unsure as to what a full Vass SKU Code is, read on below to find out exactly what the Full SKU Code is and where you can find them for each product.
What is a Vass Full SKU Code?
A Vass full SKU code is the product code we use for all products. They are unique identifiers that allows us and our systems to differentiate between all of our different products and gives us improved inventory management.
Using our Vass 650 Chest Waders, in a size 10, as an example - the full SKU Code is: VA650-70/7/44
Lets break that down...
There are 4 sections to the SKU code, the range, the product, the colour and the size.
The Range (VA650) = What range is this product from? The initial number at the start of the SKU code is always used to determine the range i.e. 650 wader range or 700 wader range.
The Product (-70) = Now that we have the range, what product from this range is it? In the above example -70 is used for Chest Waders. So far we know that we have Chest Waders in the 650 range (VA650-70)
The Colour (/7/) = After the product has been determined, we need to ascertain what colour the product is in. Some products will only be available in one colour, however we do have many products that are available in multiple colours. In this example "/7/" is used to indicate that the product is in Khaki.
The Size (/44) = Now that we have got the range, the product and the colour, all that is left to do is understand what size. For SKU Codes the sizing uses the Europeun sizing chart. So in the above exmaple we can see that this code is depicting a size 10.
Conclusion -
So using what we have learnt about SKU Codes we can see that the code VA650-70/7/44 is for a 650 Chest Wader, non-studded, Khaki, in a size UK 10 (EU44).
